  1. so if NwP (starring YamaPi) is one of your fave dramas and Maki is one of your fave actresses… when you gonna start watching Kurosagi? hehehe. forget i even brought it up, lol ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. dude, I was thisclose to watching Kurosagi but then I saw that clip you mentioned of topless YamaPi and yeah, that was that. hahahah.

  3. ^^ROFL at Kurosagi stabs ^O^;

But seriously duuude I LOVE Raymond Lam!!! Perhaps more as a singer but I love it whenever where he plays the super devoted boyfriend- he was definitely born to do this kinda thang xDD

Of you list, I would also take Rainy boy any day (but only when you’re not feeling him as much that day or when you’re just chilling with Buki tehe.) And I totally miss Lee Dong Wook! But imagine what the military training is doing for his, ah, manhood ;Ooooo

P.S. How do I get to watch the 1986 version of Journey To The West? Journey To The West is by far one of my favourite stories of all-time. I am personally a HUGE fan of the 1996 TVB version, I think I’ve seen it about 5 or 6 times & I still love every moment of it ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Raymond Lam!!! His voice is omg… *melts* and ditto on the perfect boyfriend role, especially in Survivor’s Law. I still remember him knitting a scarf or something for his GF! His character in that show gave me the standard I now hold for my future significant other. Is that too high? Does that make me picky? I mean, really, you just gotta knit me something wearable and we’re good go to. hahahhha

But imagine what the military training is doing for his, ah, manhood ;Ooooo
Hmm, this thought hadn’t enter my mind. But now that you mentioned it… ๐Ÿ˜‰

      Re: Journey to the West
*high five* It’s such a classic story, for all ages. TVB’s version with Dicky Cheung was good too. Dicky infused his own charm and mannerisms into the character and made his interpretation memorable, which I appreciated. The sequel to that series and Benny Chan’s performance, on the other hand…

Anyway, the 1986 version that I have is dubbed in Vietnamese. Otherwise, I would gladly send you a copy.
As far as watching online, I was able to find it on Youtube, although I’m not sure if it has all the episodes. You can check it out here.

      • ^^Thanks for providing the Journey To The West linkies! I will get onto them when I get a chance!

Currently so busy & so tired from work, argh! I come home & just park my buttocks on the couch & just lay there, only getting up for food… if only someone could come feed me LOL

Which, speaking of, Raymond’s character in Survivor’s Law would TOTALLY do!!!!! OMG, I watched & loved that series & THAT 7 COLOUR SCARF thing… yupYUPYUUUUPP. He got me right there. Have been a fan ever since. Much to the point that I even turn a slight blind eye to some his mediocre roles/acting jobs that have followed. Did you watch his recent “The Mysteries Of Love,” which many accused of being a ripoff of Galileo?

      • I heard about “The Mysteries of Love” but didn’t have time to check it out. If you do see it, let me know what you think.

  4. p.s. fantasy coupleeeeeeeeeee = iLove! (heyyy when you watchin’ Chuno? do you plan to ever? oh ji-ho like you’ve never seen him BEFOAR!!! he’ll have you callin’ for MOAR!!! MOAR!!! :D)

    • Ah… Fantasy Couple. Every time I hear the words “flower bouquet” in Korean, I always think of this show.

I did check out Chuno when it first came out for Lee Da Hae. Although it was great to look at, it just didn’t connect with me on an emotional level so I lasted for about 4 episodes before calling it quits.
It was also probably because Jang Hyuk doesn’t do anything for me. (Sorry, E.G.)

But it sounds like you’re enjoying it a lot, eh… for those “beast men” which, come to think of it, might help to balance out the videos that you’ve been watching of those KaT-TUN boys. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. Re The Mysteries Of Love, I’ve watched it &… dude, it started off with some promise but turned up into one a giant mess.

It’s no surprise though, there has been a steep decline in the quality of (majority) TVB series lately. Mysteries Of Love was no exception. I would’ve like to have seen better cases, & work a bit more on the character-writing. Also would’ve been better had they eliminated the second female character & make it a love triangle thing instead.

Ranting adjourned lol. Basically… watch if you’re a Raymond fan, but even so, Raymond’s role was a walk in the park for him. It was nothing really that challenging but I still enjoyed watching HIM for the most part, & he did sing the theme song ^_^

    • Thanks for posting your thoughts of Mysteries of Love! TVB… quality and original work are so few and far in between these days.
I did catch a couple glimpses of Raymond’s other series, Growing Through Life (?), the one with Damian Lau and it looks like it’s the same ol’, recycled storyline. I think he sang the theme for that one too, which if nothing else, is one good thing from a bad series.

  6. Hey doozy! I love your list and will use it as a guide. Thought from your OTP list and your breakdown that you might find it fun to check out the nominees for Best Couple and Couple Not Meant To Be, plus Best Actor/Best Actress categories in the DramaFever Awards, the first US Fan Choice Awards for International TV, including Korean Drama. We also have a Best Kiss category. Hope you like it, and if you have feedback on how to improve the Awards, would love to hear it. Thanks for looking! http://www.dramafever.com/m/df2012awards/
